CompleteFTP comes in four editions: Free Edition, Standard Edition, Professional Edition and Enterprise Edition.
The Free Edition provides a robust, high-performance FTP/FTPS server at no cost.
The Standard Edition is for those who want the essential features of FTP, FTPS and SFTP for the lowest possible price.
The Professional Edition supports all standard protocols such as FTP, FTPS, SFTP, SCP, HTTP & HTTPS. It supports Windows domain users, event notifications and process triggers, quotas, SSH terminal access and advanced file permissions. It also supports the Javascript FileManager if HTTP is enabled, filesharing and web-apps (server-side Javascript). For many users, the Professional Edition is the appropriate choice.
The Enterprise Edition should be considered by those who want to add custom functionality of their own to CompleteFTP, who require clustering support, or who need multiple sites supported on the one server. The Enterprise Edition also supports the multi-protocol gateway, which allows CompleteFTP to add secure protocols to other servers, as well as the Javascript FileManager.
Note that the trial installation can easily be upgraded from a lower edition to a higher one from the Licensing tab, so that if it was initially installed as Professional and you wish to evaluate the Enterprise Edition, you can upgrade with a mouse click. Installations cannot be downgraded to a lower edition.

Note that CompleteFTP is licensed on a per machine basis, i.e. one license is required for each machine it is installed on, unless the Corporate License is purchased. The Corporate License permits installation on any number of machines in the corporation, and optionally provides a universal activation key so online activation is not required.
Upgrading
If you have purchased the Standard or Professional Edition but subsequently decide that you require the features of a higher edition, you can upgrade for the cost of the price difference plus a USD 30 administration fee - please contact us to arrange this (and include your purchase reference in your email).
